Too cool for school!

Previously the Chelsea Children’s Hospital Charity, we re-launched as The Children’s Surgery Foundation in 2019 to reflect the national scope of our work today. The story below is from our days as the Chelsea Children’s Hospital Charity.

Whiteheath Junior School in Hillingdon is holding a mufti day on Friday 7th October to raise money for our charity. By bringing £1 into school, pupils can ditch their uniforms for the day while raising much-needed funds to help children and their families at Chelsea Children’s and West Middlesex Hospitals. One of Whiteheath’s pupils, 10-year-old Joe, benefited from our surgical robot, Pluto, when he needed surgery on an obstructed kidney at Chelsea Children’s Hospital last summer. Thanks so much to all the pupils and staff at Whiteheath for their support.
