Photo shoot on the wards

Previously the Chelsea Children’s Hospital Charity, we re-launched as The Children’s Surgery Foundation in 2019 to reflect the national scope of our work today. The story below is from our days as the Chelsea Children’s Hospital Charity.

We've had a productive day with brilliant photographer Gail Fogarty on the children's wards and neonatal unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. While we chatted to lots of brave parents and heard their inspiring stories, Gail took photos of their poorly little ones - some of whom were surprisingly full of beans! Thanks so much to all the parents who gave their consent - thanks to you we can continue raising awareness of our charity via our website and social media. 

Gail spent three hours with us and will spend more time editing the images, but she refuses to charge us a penny for her hard work. You're a star, Gail! Thank you.
