Support from local nurseries

Previously the Chelsea Children’s Hospital Charity, we re-launched as The Children’s Surgery Foundation in 2019 to reflect the national scope of our work today. The story below is from our days as the Chelsea Children’s Hospital Charity.

We’ve had some amazing support from local nursery schools in recent months. The three Miss Daisy’s nurseries, in Belgravia, Knightsbridge and Chelsea, raised the fabulous sum of £6,320 through a dressing up day and cake sale. Tadpoles Nursery in Chelsea has been a tireless supporter of our charity, holding several fundraisers including a very successful quiz night. In total they’ve raised £5,000.

“We're over the moon about the total sums raised,” said Rebecca McLoughlin, Charity Manager. “Thank you so much to everyone involved; we really appreciate the generosity of the families. We love being involved in the local community.”
