Glitz and glamour at the ball

Previously the Chelsea Children’s Hospital Charity, we re-launched as The Children’s Surgery Foundation in 2019 to reflect the national scope of our work today. The story below is from our days as the Chelsea Children’s Hospital Charity.

We are delighted to have been chosen as charity partner for the Holy Cross ball for the second time. The ball is being held on Saturday 8th October at the Hurlingham Club in Fulham and will be attended by local parents with children at Holy Cross Primary School. The fabulous evening includes a sit-down dinner, live auction and dancing. In 2014 the ball raised a fabulous £16,000, with money split equally between our charity and the school. With the funds, we bought surgical pads to keep children and babies comfortable during surgery. We’d like to say thank you to the dedicated committee from Holy Cross Church who is working flat out to ensure this year’s event is a great success. It’s been great fun working with you and we’re looking forward to the big night!
