All dressed up

12 Dec Archive Bethan at Miss Daisy's

Previously the Chelsea Children’s Hospital Charity, we re-launched as The Children’s Surgery Foundation in 2019 to reflect the national scope of our work today. The story below is from our days as the Chelsea Children’s Hospital Charity.

Little ones at Miss Daisy’s Nursery, which has three sites in Chelsea, Knightsbridge and Belgravia, had great fun dressing up as doctors, nurses and patients to fundraise for us. They enjoyed a visit from Chelsea Children's Hospital nurses Bethan Morris and Rachael Cooper, who gave a talk and answered lots of questions from the children.

“Thanks so much for coming! The children loved it and all the teachers thought it was a great success,” said Alex Bradley, headmistress at Miss Daisy’s, Knightsbridge.

Rebecca McLoughlin, our Charity Manager, said, “Miss Daisy's has raised over £5,000 from the dressing up day! What amazingly generous families you have, thank you.”
