We support babies, children, and their families to improve the lives of sick children through the continuous improvement of paediatric surgery.
Previously known as the Chelsea Children’s Hospital Charity, we have now re-launched as The Children’s Surgery Foundation reflecting a move to a more national scope of our work. Working in partnership with the British Association of Paediatric Surgeons (BAPS), we help children’s surgical centres nationwide by providing support to purchase much needed medical equipment, surgical training and research to hospitals across the UK.
Our first project to help support paediatric surgical patients nationwide will be a campaign to ensure that intravenous access is a more efficient and less intimidating procedure for young patients and their families. Read more about The Beam Campaign here.
Established in 1953, the British Association of Paediatric Surgeons (BAPS) endeavour to raise standards in paediatric surgery through education and research.
